Job Description
This position is 100% remote and reports to the CEO. The Controller will be joining a dynamic organization, and will have an opportunity to drive growth through analysis providing leadership with strategic insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment, have the desire to wear multiple hats and the ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of monthly accounting and close processes
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
- Review and approval of vendor payments prior to disbursement
- Prepare annual budget and monitor monthly variances (the FP&A Manager will report to the Controller)
- Billing and collections
- Prepare and monitor control environment and implement enhancements as required
- Reporting to senior management and Board (reporting to include monthly performance, budget vs. actual, other finance related matters, etc.)
- Preparation of annual audited financial statements
- Monitor overall compliance with tax rules/requirement
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 6+ years of experience in finance/accounting
- Advanced excel skills with experience building complex models

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across varying levels
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- MBA and/or CPA
- Experience in a early stage or high-growth technology company
