Job Purpose
Working with team members and on a rotational basis, the Middle Office Operations Specialist performs coordinating and oversight functions working with internal Voya teams and external service providers for Transfer Agent, Trade Support and Accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate onboarding activities for new clients, strategies, products and asset types

Coordinate operational projects

Research and resolve data issues
-
Responsible for the day to day oversight of the Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) relationship, including ensuring daily trades are communicated to service provider, data is reflected properly in the accounting data feeds from service provider and reconciliations are completed by service provider with variances resolved on a timely basis

Support traders and portfolio managers by providing cash reporting for all funds and provide trade support in the Blackrock, Aladdin and Charles River trading system for all equity funds
Knowledge & Experience
-
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
-
5+ years experience in securities operations/accounting or related field

Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other PC based software
-
Ability to quickly learn new software applications and outside on-line services

Good analytical and quantitative skills

Excellent organizational skills for tasks, work environment and documentation

Ability to independently prioritize projects and work in a fast paced, multi-task environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have ability to work within a team environment

Knowledge of fixed income/equity security types including derivatives and non USD strongly desired
