POSITION PURPOSE

Patient Credit Balance Analyst has the primary responsibility of engaging with Patient outreach and support to review, set up,

and complete any refund due to our clients as necessary. Review and verify information before submitting to request executive

staff for a credit. Route documents to appropriate internal and external teams for review as the last stop for adjudication and

review. Respond to inquiries or concerns from Billing Office via incoming telephone calls or email. Gather and compile data and

be an assistant to the team manager on any duties assigned outside of normal day-to-day functions


ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to completely and accurately complete Credit Balance assignments for day-to-day function
  • Adheres to department benchmarks and productivity
  • Ability to organize and maintain excellent standards of processes independently
  • Effectively notice and report trends of issues that may be occurring in the billing system
  • Ability to work in a team environment and get along well with others in a fast paced and diverse environment
  • Motivation to bring company to the next level of excellence


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years’ healthcare experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Athena Collector System, Cedar, SalesForce CRM, Microsoft Office, and VeriNet experience a plus.
