You will:
Candidate will be responsible for the engineering and administration of network management solutions for a multi-platform global network infrastructure. The primary focus is the delivery of fault and performance monitoring services to internal teams, providing them with the functionality and data required to proactively manage the health and capacity of the network.
Design, deployment, administration and operational support of NMS tools
Evaluation of new monitoring solutions
Integration of the NMS tools with asset dbase and other corporate systems
Automation of tool administration
Liaison with network operational and engineering teams to define and implement monitoring standard
Act as team representative for regular scheduled network management review meetings
Participate in network management design and peer reviews
Conduct tooling audits to assess proper operational coverage and build remediation changes as required
Coordinate with external vendors for tooling updates and upgrades
Documentation of tool architecture and operational procedures
Responsibility will include on-site cover in line with Morgan Stanley's policies

You have:
Experience with tools supporting the monitoring of large scale deployments of routers and switches in mission critical environments
Understanding of network management protocols, concepts, and enterprise infrastructure services (SNMP, Syslog, NTP, DNS, AAA/LDAP, API)
Understanding of networking products for Orchestration, Alert, Incident, Problem, Capacity and Performance, Wifi, Security, and Flow Management
Python scripting experience is required with additional languages (shell, PERL, SQL, etc) preferred
Enterprise Linux system management
Experience with integration toolsets managing a variety of networking hardware vendors
Experience with developing tool integrations and automation
You might also have:
Proven network infrastructure programmability experience via API (NetConf, JSON, XML, YAML, Jinja, REST, Kafka)
Understanding of specific network management systems such as Spectrum, SevOne, Splunk, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ISE/ACS, and HPNA
Experience in monitoring voice technologies
Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, attention to detail, and process orientation
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to distil and present information to business community in non-technical terminology
Business analysis skills, with the ability to forecast implications and provide consultative recommendations and solutions
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage operational lifecycle
Team Profile: The Network Automation and Tooling Team works on multiple products and projects to facilitate the work of network operations and to improve the stability of the Firm's global data and voice network. The team's responsibility includes Engineering, Integration and Development of Network Configuration Management, Network Monitoring, Network Security and Network Packet Inspection Tools across both Vendor Made Solutions (Cisco, HPNA-Microfocus / SevOne / CA-Spectrum / cPacket / Corvil) and in-house developments.#LI-EB1
