We seek a goal-oriented Digital Manager who will develop, produce and manage the organization’s digital and social media content, platforms, and monetization. The incumbent will provide Executive Leadership and CMO input on the holistic digital and social media content and growth strategy and platform-specific goals based upon the global company strategy. In this role, the Digital Manager must manage the development, production, policies, and procedures and report across platforms directly to the strategic long-term goals. The Digital Manager will collaborate with all team members across the company and be a formidable team member with a positive attitude. The successful candidate must have direct digital manager and project management experience, exceptional creative instincts, deep knowledge of social media trends & the culture surrounding both established and emerging platforms. The company is rapidly expanding; therefore, the ideal candidate must be able to create, manage the creation process, and roll up their sleeves to effectuate the productions and deliverables. Must live in the greater Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In conjunction with EL & CMO, refine and update digital content and social media strategies as needed annually. Manage internal and external teams to achieve these strategies.
Develop and manage the production of digital content and series.
Ideate and produce social media campaigns and content.
Develop budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure to achieve the department strategy.
Oversee all creative publications on social accounts and community interaction, including but not limited to: Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Website.
Develop the tone and voice for each social media account and ensure all deliverables meet company standards.
Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop campaigns for monetization, marketing, and other directives.
Management of content creation process, deliverables, and timelines
Define, in conjunction with EL & CMO, and achieve quarterly goals for engagement, community growth, monetization.
Provide weekly and monthly KPIs to EL & CMO, including inhouse productivity benchmarks
Monitor the competitive social landscape, market changes, and developments and propose strategy adjustments as needed.
In conjunction with EL & CMO, maximize monetization across platforms, including but not limited to: advertising revenue, sponsored posts (all types), licensing, and sales.
Oversee social media account security, claiming, and setup.
3+ years experience in social media, journalism, education, or a related field
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Understanding of and familiarity with social media programming
Passion for personal development and encouraging others to excel
A basic appreciation of popular culture and an understanding of the tastes of Brands target audience
Experience with Thinkific online learning platform a plus
Experience working with popular social media monitoring and management tools (Google, Twitter Reach, HootSuite, TweetDeck, Mention, etc)
