Corporate Financial Services (CFS) is a Division that focuses on delivering products to high volume payment processing companies (Payroll Processors, Third Party Payment Providers, FinTechs, etc). It also has specialty lines of businesses services Franchise Lending and Private Capital Solutions. The CFS Administration team provides a variety of support functions to those revenue generating units; Card/Fintech Program Management, Product Strategy, Data/Metrics Reporting & Management, Budgeting and Finance, Capital Investment plans, Divisional and Product Policies and Procedures, Audit Support, FBO Recon, Industry and Vendor Research, etc. This position is a newly created position that will report directly to the EVP/Director of CFS Administration.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Management of the Card Program and For Benefit Of (FBO) Reconciliation process and analyst; Ensuring all daily Card Network Settlement entries are confirmed and balanced, ensuring that all FBO relationships are reconciled (per frequency defined; daily, weekly, monthly) and any impound/contingency accounts are funded, ensuring all records of processes, evidence and communications on reconcilements are retained and discoverable for audit and other purposes
  • Assist the President of CFS and Director of CFS Administration with the establishment of budgets and ensuring appropriate monitoring and reporting is provided as defined
  • Assist and lead the process and program for establishing and maintaining the Divisions Product Strategy and management of products (even if products are owned by other areas; i.e. Treasury, Payment Systems, etc.). Also assist with the development of Business Strategies and Goals, helping with facilitating defining as such, reporting on progress of those and assisting the President and Director with preparing any packages needed for customer or internal presentations.
  • Work with Head of Card and FinTech Program Management, Banking Leads, Director and President to support, develop as needed and maintain document management any and all procedures and policies owned or generated out of the Division and its business activities
  • Work with Banking Leads and Enterprise Risk to support any executed audits (internally, externally, related to customer audit requirements, etc.) and ensure all audits are done timely, by appropriate parties and that all results are assessed and any recommendations or Action Items due to Findings are tracked and managed to resolution
  • Help the Director and Banking Leads as needed to prepare for sales and relationship visits
  • Work with the Director to perform regular industry research as aligned with Division Strategies and Goals; leading the Division through regular reviews of industry trends and impacts to the Divisions business objectives
  • Work with the Director in researching and evaluating new vendors, partnership opportunities and building business cases for any projects and potential capital investment/expenditure requests
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong financial and accounting experience for the purposes of Funds Flow and FBO reconciliations, building budgets and preparing summaries
  • Strong working knowledge of the various segments and products in the Payments industry; NACHA, Wire, Card (Debit and Credit) and emerging payments such as Real Time Payments and Payment HUBs
  • Strong technical skills with building data analytics and digestible management reporting; familiar with Business Intelligence tools, Excel (formulas and pivot tables)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for Executive level Management and with Customers in the Financial and Payment industries.
  • Ability to be very detailed oriented in quantitative and qualitative research; being able to summarize for others clearly at an Executive level
  • Ability to shift daily work focus from focused and tactical items (i.e. reconcilements and data analytics) to more abstract and strategic matters (i.e. Industry Research, etc.)
  • Management experience and cross functional matrix relationship building and management


  • Bachelors Degree or comparable work related experience.
  • 3-7 Years of experience in the Commercial Bank and/or Payments Industry
  • Experience in an Operational organization
  • Proven experience in working relationships with Commercial Customers
  • Proven experience with reconciliations, building strategies, product development and management
