Brief Job Description
New Heights Behavioral Consultants LLC, is a CARF accredited, DATEP certified behavioral health agency, providing community-based, outpatient, in-home Tier 2 Non-Intensive Outpatient and DFCS services provider for persons experiencing challenges in their daily lives. Currently seeking two fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) to provide professional community-based and/or telehealth outpatient therapy services on a full-time basis (25-40 hours per week).
Only LPC, LCSW and LMFT candidates currently residing in the state of Georgia will be considered.
Areas of service: Metro Atlanta including, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dekalb, Fayette, Fulton, Henry, Gwinnett, Henry & Spalding Counties.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Fully Licensed Clinician in the State of Georgia as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT (Required)
- Master’s Degree in a Human/Social Service field (Counseling, Social Work, Education, Marriage & Family, Criminal Justice or equivalent) (Required)
- Tier 2 Non-Intensive Outpatient Program (CORE) or DFCS counseling experience working with ren, adolescents and adults with severely emotional, behavioral, or psychological problems: 1 year minimum experience (Required)
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures (Required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Required)
- CANS/ANSA Certification (Preferred)
- ShareNote or similar 3rd party software applications experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family and group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other Systems related models
- Provide therapy, skill building, brief counseling and crisis counseling as needed to clients
- Educate and empower families to implement effective behavior modification techniques
- Coordinate services with private organizations, schools, juvenile justice facilities, and protective services.
- Consult private organizations, school administration, DFCS case workers, probation officers and judges as a part of service delivery to clients and advocacy as needed on their behalf
