Holy Spirit Preparatory School is seeking exceptional, enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our Preschool for the 2022-23 school year. Holy Spirit Preparatory School is a Catholic, independent Pre-K to 12 school in North Atlanta. The Preschool Faculty at Holy Spirit Preparatory School is responsible for fostering a positive experience for every student and family Early Learning Care (ELC) through Pre-K 4, providing classroom instruction and assisting with other elements of the HSP enrichment programs. The Preschool Faculty is an exempt, part-time, summer schedule position which reports to the Preschool Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Model virtuous behavior in accord with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
Provide tools and resources for ren to use and explore during learning and play activities.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of ren.
Establish and enforce rules of behavior for ren in their classrooms.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with ren and parents.
Models effective teacher/parent partnership through timely communication with parents in support of student learning.
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective formative environment for students and work environment for peers.
Support the school and its leadership and perform other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Be a practicing and informed Catholic in communion with the Holy Roman Catholic Church who knows and follows the precepts of the Church.
Ability to develop activities that are fun and educational for young ren.
Ability to instruct young ren in rules of conduct and learning new tasks.
Ability to select the appropriate teaching method and adapt to ren's learning styles.
Ability to effectively communicate with ren and parents.
Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of ren and parents.
Patience and compassion suitable for working with young ren.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in elementary education or related field, preferred.
Three to five years’ work experience preferred.
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
