iParametrics is actively interviewing Structural Engineers to join our team!
Our employees use their experience and technical expertise to assist in the FEMA Application process, helping representatives of publicly owned infrastructure (local governments, hospitals, utilities, etc.) get one step closer to receiving the FEMA funding that enables them to begin rebuilding their communities after a disaster. As a Structural Engineer, your responsibilities may include cost estimating, damage assessments, providing technical guidance to FEMA on structural elements of the project, and providing programmatic guidance to the applicants.

Salary for these positions are based on experience, background, and skills. Travel & lodging expenses are reimbursed.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited university and a minimum of 2 years of experience in your area of expertise.
- Proficiency in computer usage (Windows platform), MS Word and Excel, and Smartphones. Adobe Acrobat experience is highly preferred.
- Previous FEMA experience is not required, but highly desired. If you already have FEMA Public Assistance experience, please be sure to provide details.
All candidates must be able to obtain a government security clearance. You will undergo an extensive FEMA/FBI background check to be deemed suitable for deployment.
This position may require you to be available to travel to an assignment with only 48 hours notice. Interested individual need to be willing commit to providing regular availability updates, completing training and fulfilling all deployment commitments.
Due to the nature of disasters, job assignments often come with long hours and extended workweeks. Conditions in the field for some positions may be austere, including prolonged exposure to excessive heat and cold, sun exposure, and in some cases no electricity, heat, or air conditioning.
