The Corporate Land Development Manager assists all land development activities for Beazer Divisions nationwide. Primarily, this person will serve as a land development subject matter expert and provide training and insight to the divisions to help facilitate and expedite land development. In addition, this resource will help review all Land Acquisition Request packages.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Continuously improves land development goals, objectives, and strategies with each Division.
- Participates in land development budgeting and projected spend
- Helps Divisional Land Acquisition Requests
- Engages with land development due diligence investigations
- Reviews and evaluates land development schedules and timelines
- Reviews technical (non-legal) aspects of land purchase contracts
- Oversees the corporate process of land development bidding and contractor evaluation
- Supports Divisions in forward-planning activities (entitlement approvals and permits)
- Manages bond reduction and exonerations
- College graduate with a preferred degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or planning
- 5+ years of land development experience
- Knowledge of construction practices across many geographic areas
- Sound management and supervision skills.
- Ability to create strong interdepartmental and corporate relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Manages difficult situations; responds promptly to division needs; solicits division feedback to improve service.
- Identifies and resolves problems promptly;
- Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; understands the organization's strengths and weaknesses; studies market and competition; identifies external threats and opportunities; adapts the approach to changing conditions.
- Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures.
- Excellent with Microsoft 365 Suite
- Familiar with Bluebeam, Agtek, AutoCAD
- Construction sites where temperature, weather and noise may vary; may encounter electrical, dust, poor ventilation, dangerous machinery and moving objects and toxic conditions.
- Position may require flexible work hours and some travel.
