Job Description:

As a Quality Engineer at DJO, LLC you will ensure that the company complies with all applicable federal, industry, and corporate procedures, guidelines, and regulations for the development of orthopedic medical device implants for the foot and ankle. This individual provides functional support for new product development and the Quality System.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia Foot and Ankle facility

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the writing of SOPs and work instructions to ensure the QMS meets current requirements
  • Maintain routine quality system metrics for use in Management Reviews and team meetings
  • Manage post market product complaints; including investigations
  • Support validation and engineering studies
  • Support new product development and manufacturing transfer activities
  • Work with product groups to drive continuous improvement
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management activity to include FMEAs
  • Review and approve test methods
  • Coordinate routine dose audit, bioburden, and bacterial endotoxin tests

Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering or related science field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in Quality Engineer in medical device or regulated industry
