Important aspects of being an Area Vice President of Clinical Operations, with our company, include the following: · You will provide leadership, support, and guidance to greater than 260 dedicated employees in 6 different locations, who work diligently to provide exceptional and compassionate care to greater than 700 patients and their family members daily. · You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, and you’ll provide leadership within an assigned sphere of influence, specific to a state/region. · You’ll be responsible for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of operational policies and procedures for offices in an assigned territory. · You’ll direct and coordinate the Operational Functions for offices within your assigned area.
- You’ll be traveling regularly to your area’s offices/branches.· You’ll be working side-by-side with your clinical and operational team to promote our hospice services and solidify the highest quality patient care in a fiscally responsible manner. The ideal candidate for this position will embody several qualifications, but he/she will be a Registered Nurse, with an active and unincumbered license to practice. • You will also, preferably, possess a Bachelors’ degree in Nursing, Business, and/or a related field. • You will also have a minimum of three to five years healthcare managerial experience required, with a least two to three years of hospice experience.
