Make your mark in public service. As an accredited public health department, we're seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Immunization Health Communicator with the Immunization Program under the Division of Medical and Clinical Services in Atlanta, Georgia.

Provides consultative services and technical assistance for community outreach and partnership initiatives, outreach materials, presentations, and messaging
- Provides consultative services and technical assistance and support for Immunization Program and Pandemic Vaccine Section event and conference planning and execution including venue, technology, registration, etc.
- Develops and maintains agency standards, guidelines and branding for event planning and management
- Work with the Pandemic Program Supervisor to develop and implement long and short-term communication strategies for the Pandemic Vaccine Section
- Work with Immunization Managers to develop and implement long and short-term communication strategies for their assigned sections
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of communications experience
Six years of communications or related experience
One year at the lower level (GSP042) or position equivalent.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
