Business Summary:

You will be responsible for driving a consistent, strategic approach to Information Security and Compliance across the End User Computing (EUC) cloud services portfolio and for communicating this strategy to both internal and external audiences. You will work closely with the EUC cloud operations and development teams as well as cross-functionally with central Information Security, Compliance, Legal groups to achieve complex security baselines and compliance objectives, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001/27017/27018, and PCI-DSS. Additionally, you will work with the Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure that customers have the information they need for their procurement and due diligence efforts.


Job Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Research, align and drive information security and compliance strategies across EUC cloud services
  • Align technical controls, inform compliance roadmaps, and prioritize assurance material creation through third-party audit, customer request, and product roadmap feedback loops
  • Facilitate process alignment across centralized Information Security, Compliance, Legal, and EUC product and services teams
  • Be an EUC security and compliance subject matter expert (SME) for customer risk assessments, calls and contract negotiations as well as for internal security, legal and privacy processes
  • Manage ongoing governance programs, such as risk management and continuous monitoring
  • Develop and maintain compelling EUC cloud security and compliance technical documentation
  • Support customer due diligence efforts and contribute to a continuously updated knowledgebase
  • Contribute to third-party audits and compliance attestation activities

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the information security field or in SaaS software
  • Familiarity with highly regulated industries and common compliance frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for technical audiences
  • Sustained attention to detail, strong organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience working remotely in collaborative environments with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with continuous monitoring and risk management processes for cloud software
  • An accredited security certification, such as CISSP, CCSP, and/or CIPP/E
  • Working knowledge of international and national data privacy laws, particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Knowledge of existing VMware products and services
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working with customer risk assessments for SaaS software
