The Clinical Trials Division (CTD) has an Employee Population of 4,400+ employees with its largest location in Allentown, PA. CTD has full service global clinical supply solutions include Clinical Manufacturing, Label design & packaging, Storage and distribution, and Reverse logistics and destruction.

What you will do?

Commercial Solutions Communications Manager

This is a remote position based in the United States.

This role supports the Commercial organization, providing quality information for use in the field.

  • Simplifies information and data using charts, graphs, infographics, and other visual aids to present information in a way that is accurate, accessible, and appealing
    • Partners with cross-functional teams and drives the creation and approvals of quarterly client-facing CTD / PSG “update” presentations based upon pre-defined strategy / story
    • Partners with Marketing Development to ensure quarterly “go-to-market” themes are included in Business Review meetings (BRM) and other presentations as appropriate
    • Effectively partners with Account Executives to create effective, client-specific presentations, including those intended for BRMs and Bid Defense meetings
  • Develops and implements strategy for sharing our value proposition by using available data / content, case studies to support customer needs
  • Coordinates with commercial, service line, and marketing representatives across Pharma Services Group to avail CTD commercial teams with current, global information regarding site and service capabilities, capacities, and limitations
  • Always reflects brand-compliance, i.e., works within brand and style guidelines
  • Accesses data from Power BI to facilitate presentation builds when needed
  • Writes simple copy
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Supports Account Executives, Global Relationship Directors (GRDs), and Global Program Directors (GPDs) on large, competitive opportunities
  • Provides support to the commercial team on Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Serves as backup for Commercial Solution Managers
  • Independently solves routine problems / issues. Seeks advice / input on more complex problems
  • Actively participates in cross-functional business process improvement activities
  • Recognizes strategic opportunities for process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S. / B.F.A.) from an accredited 4-year college / university, recognized professional degree, or transferrable experience
  • PowerPoint certification preferred

  • Experience creating highly visible, branded presentations including color themes, animations, hyperlinking, transitions, actions, video, and more
  • Background or experience in marketing or brand management
  • Experience coordinating with commercial teams, ideally in a technical or solutions support capacity
  • Proven ability to meet commitments while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Client-facing experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Excellent PowerPoint Skills including the technical know-how of Microsoft PowerPoint’s functions plus the creative background needed to beautify presentations that drive clear objectives and troubleshoot presentation issues. Should remain current of new program features for PowerPoint with releases of new software versions
  • Strong data visualization skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Proficient use of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills to support working in a highly independent, corporate, virtual team concept with colleagues dispersed across the globe
  • Possesses outstanding attention to detail plus good creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of clinical trials or clinical packaging and distribution preferred
