THE ROLE

As Senior Social Media Manager, you will develop overarching strategies in support of the annual operating plan for Anisa Beauty. Working to create best-in-class social strategies, breakthrough creative content, and leveraging both established and emerging platforms, this position will direct social media initiatives that engage new and existing Anisa Beauty customers and talent in ways that ultimately drive growth for the business. This role will raise the bar for everything social at Anisa!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute both overarching and channel specific strategies for our social platforms
  • Manage the voice of Anisa Beauty through organic and paid campaign content strategies
  • Build and direct a small team of social producers and community managers to develop our social audiences and shape our channel specific strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure innovative social media initiatives that significantly connect with our employees, customers and talent while maximizing engagement and earned social media conversations
  • Manage and grow channels; develop and own multiple KPIs for social media strategy to drive results toward our business goals over short and long-term that are reported to leadership
  • Identify, through both qualitative and quantitative metrics, high potential communities for Anisa to invest in
  • Seek out strategic partnership opportunities with Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc. to deliver business goals
  • Build strategic partnerships with influencers and brands to help accelerate social growth and reach specific communities/target demographics
  • Increase brand awareness of and build positive brand association for Anisa Beauty among key communities
  • Create new and engaging ways to distribute Anisa Beauty’s content as both an awareness and growth levers
  • Produce engaging and shareable content and provide data driven recommendations for content by keyword, topic, headline, etc
  • Run content seeding initiatives and optimize them based on performance-driven metrics
  • Manage daily social communication, consumer listen and response, sentiment analysis and enquiries
  • Report on campaigns based on analysis to ensure the most effective approach
  • Research opportunities to leverage what’s new and trending on social platforms
  • Provide thought leadership, guidance and be the main internal champion for social media best practices, consistently educating our team on how to best leverage social media to drive the business forward

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience leading social teams for a consumer-facing brand
  • Experience in the Cosmetic, Fashion, Luxury Goods or Accessories space preferred
  • Proven track record of significantly growing audiences on social media with limited marketing budget
  • Experience with multi-channel communications planning, using data to identify insights and build strategies for social content
  • Advanced knowledge of social media best practices. Experience with social media channels in China desired
  • Ability to be successful both as an individual contributor and as a team member; ability to perform at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Knowledge of content discovery mechanisms (algorithms) and optimization levers within a digital media platform
  • Experience creating relationships across a growing and evolving organization with complex decision influences
  • Possess enthusiasm for building the Anisa Beauty brand and Founder and CEO’s presence
  • Must be a strategic thinker that is able to scope tasks and set goals; must be results oriented to measure success
  • Must be highly detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills; must be proactive and have an action-oriented work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be flexible with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
