The Senior Communications & PR Manager is responsible for proactively delivering up-to-the-minute accurate information about Manhattan Associates, its experts and its customers to a range of influencers who report on and shape the markets we serve. These influencers include, but are not limited to, reporters and editors at key trade and business outlets (print and online) and broadcast media in North America.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7-10 + years of experience in influencer programs targeting the media and thought leaders.
- Solid understanding of how to execute marketing concepts and objectives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Track record of establishing strong relationships with reporters and excels in generating positive publicity.
- Track record of driving measurable and meaningful business results.
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly for a wide variety of targeted audiences.
- Ability to implement with extreme attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- B2B Enterprise Software experience preferred.
- Supply Chain or Retail industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of competitive communications a plus.
- Ability to develop and drive a corporate PR strateg
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required. Preference given to candidates with business or communications degrees.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates North American media relations efforts with campaigns in other geographies as appropriate.
- Directs and manages Manhattan’s public relations agency.
- Writes and edits press releases, bylined articles, case studies and other press materials.
- Acts as an information broker who oversees and directs expertise-related information from Manhattan Associates to the media.
- Serves as a “corporate conscience,” tracking trends (e.g., industry-specific and global business trends) and keeping them top-of-mind with marketing executives.
- Works closely with marketing, sales, and product management teams to effectively market and drive demand for each of our solutions.
- Compiles coverage reports and measures performance against marketing goals and objectives.
- Manages the company’s speakers bureau. Places executives in high profile speaking opportunities.
- Manages the submission process for industry awards and recognition
