Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated Producer that is passionate about shaping the strategy of Salesforce’s broadcast and/or live stage production experiences. Embracing standard methodologies from television-music-entertainment, the Integrated Experiences team builds live and impactful global events & broadcasts that engage both in-person and online audiences, fueling the power of Salesforce anywhere. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a producer’s mentality: a dedication to storytelling, video and audio background, creative thinking with a strong point of view, a collaborative approach, speed and composure under deadline, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to prioritize key partner considerations. Salesforce is an innovative, fast paced company; the Integrated Experiences Team is no different.
You will help us build a strategy on how to engage new audiences and connect better with our existing audience through a broadcast that leaves people hooked, wanting more, and continuously tuning in. In this role, you will lead all aspects of soup-to-nuts production, and manage the creative process from idea to execution.
You will be at the forefront of Salesforce’s broadcast evolution.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creative strategy behind Salesforce’s broadcast experience series to include: shooting approach, program format, story and script development, graphics, and post production
Work closely with our cross-functional partners to weave the right mix of television standard methodologies with the Salesforce brand– Corporate Messaging, Demo, Film, Customer Marketing, Creative, Health & Safety, Talent
Manage our external production agencies – staffing, onboarding, strategy, execution
Develop and present decks on our broadcast experiences to Salesforce’s leadership team
Partner with content teams to write scripts for on-air talent
Lead brainstorms in broadcast innovation, bringing a strong POV from industry standard methodologies and experience
Be experimental with content, take risks with what you’re crafting, be ambitious and original
Attend daily meetings to update team on progress/status/issues/troubleshooting
Manage production budget and timeline to bring projects in under budget and on deadline
Minimum qualifications:
5-10 years of experience with television or video production
A detailed knowledge of film production process, from pre-production, to production to post-production
Thought leader with a strong point of view, have an ability to contribute meaningfully to the strategic development of an assignment and promote conceptual thinking among the team
Encourage risk-taking to drive audience growth and our position as an industry leader
Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
Strong deck development and presentation skills with the ability to communicate to top tier executives
Genuine love for the written word with creative script writing skills for any audience – tech industry knowledge is a plus
Experience in managing and handling on-air talent
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and manage expectations with project partners
Adept at solving sophisticated production challenges in a self sufficient manner
Ability to contribute to the team beyond basic production requirements in the areas of process, education, operations and vetting of vendors and contractors
Is a collaborator, and no job is too small
Preferred qualifications:
Experience across content creation process: storyboards, scripts, writing, and directing
Understanding of common video production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Live streaming platforms, Camera and Audio equipment
Experience working with or for a technology company
