Salesforce is looking for a Product Manager to work with geographically dispersed scrum teams and business partners on implementing and scaling an Enterprise Automation platform across Salesforce. This role is the primary interface between IT delivery teams and business partner subject matter experts and is responsible for gathering, organizing, and documenting business requirements in a shareable, actionable, standardized framework.
The Product Manager will provide initial triage on the intake of a “request” and help to identify business requirements, the “what.” This role translates the business needs into actionable requirements by getting enough information to make a solution possible; helps drive clarity to make rational decisions.

This role should share an equivalent level of solution subject matter expertise with their business partners and a robust understanding of the technology concepts applicable for the functions. Confident in engaging with business and technology partners, the candidate is adept at distinguishing objectives, obstacles, and solutions. Product Managers may contribute to solution designs, testing plans, and execution, as well as the training, troubleshooting, and project management aspects of addressing business and operational needs. This role collaborates with a group of Product Owners on requirements, business value scoring, and success metrics. They will drive the requirements gathering process that accurately reflects business needs which includes: risk analysis, “as is” and “to be” process documentation, agnostic of a specific technical solution. The PM reviews technical solutions for compliance with business processes and objectives. The PM coordinates end to end UAT cycle and develop organizational change management framework; group/functional success metrics) acceptance criteria.

As a Product Manager, you perform the core duties of a product manager and take on a larger role within the Automation Community. You serve on internal teams or committees helping improve processes or create new ones. You may serve as a leader and mentor to other BSA’s, and you use Slack/Chatter to answer questions and share your knowledge with the larger team. You will be on large-scale projects, whose implementations, issues, requests, or projects have greater scope, complexity and require change management. You operate more proactively as opposed to reactively, anticipating issues and averting them before they occur. You work more closely with the Salesforce.com Product Owners. As a Product Manager, you feel comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple projects at a time and working with cross-functional team members across geographies.

Responsibilities :

  • Initiate the citizen development program by leading alignment on program scope, release planning, aligning one or more teams on vision, business goals, creating program structure, and securing cross-functional support
    • Driving teams through the Software Engineering experience using Agile and demonstrated analytical and technical skills
  • Provide visibility to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis through push status reporting (to all stakeholders, team members, and interested parties)
  • Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews (deep dive into the current state of project goals, risks, escalations)
  • Be the key driver to ensure business goals are met and support the strategic vision of the program
  • Develop strong partnerships with IT and the Business functional leaders to drive focus on the business objective.
  • Organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities simultaneously with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communicate quickly and transparently
  • Serve as the team’s de facto Salesforce expert

Required Skills :

  • Work proactively to predict and minimize potential issues before they arise, and resolve those that do in a timely manner
  • Perform some Product Owner responsibilities; create product roadmaps, groom backlogs, facilitate with senior leadership
  • Assist with interviews and mentor new team members
  • Work very comfortably with stakeholders at the executive, department, or division level juggle multiple issues, set expectations, and prioritize accordingly
  • Research and respond to customer questions including navigating complex situations involving multiple parties
  • Flawless execution of project coordination activities, with high attention to detail, organization, and process
  • Ability to meet deadlines & an eagerness to learn and continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
  • Incredibly bright, high energy individual with a passion to learn and contribute
  • Strong teamwork skills; and a strong ability to offer suggestions and improvements to process and work effectively with all personalities
  • Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs

Desired Skills :

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (including 2+ years in Business Process Automation)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, STEM or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred
  • Domain expertise in process mapping, design think processes, Robotic Process Automation, Cognitive/Intelligent
  • General Business Processes, especially Finance processes
  • Business Applications (CRM) and Automation
  • Salesforce Core product and features & Cloud Computing Concepts
  • General IT (database, security, networking) concepts and programming concepts
  • Enterprise Application development and delivery
  • 1-3 years of project coordination experience
  • Familiarity or knowledge of Agile practices

This role is Office-Flex (~1-3 days/wk in office) or Fully Remote
