The Role You’ll Play

Are you an up-and-coming Human Resources professional, excited to grow your career in the manufacturing industry, and ready to take the next career step? As the Human Resources Generalist at this specialty wheel plant, you will be actively fielding employee HR-related questions, managing payroll, and collaborating with other team members to best serve the plant. This is a true generalist role, encompassing a broad scope of HR-related activities, with lots of room to identify problems and provide creative solutions to bring real change within the organization. Background Profile

  • Required Skills & Experiences:
    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
    • 2+ years experience in Human Resources Administration
    • General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • An insatiable appetite for learning
    • Strong organizational and note-taking skills
  • Preferred skills & experiences:
    • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
    • Payroll administration
    • Manufacturing experience
    • PHR certification is preferred.
  • Technical skills & experiences:
    • Microsoft Office
    • Excel Skills
    • HRIS experience (Paycom a plus)
