Join our team as the Director of Leadership & Executive Development, an addition to the Human Resources Team. This newly created position focuses on talent development and organizational development to continue the success and momentum for Peachtree Hotel Group (PHG).
The Director of Leadership & Executive Development focuses on talent development and organizational development necessary for Peachtree Hotel Group to successfully deliver on its business plans now and in the future. The primary focus of this role is to develop internal talent ensuring that PHG has a pipeline of leaders with the skills, capabilities, and critical experiences necessary to continue the success of the business.

Essential functions:

  • Ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships with all levels within the organization, from the individual contributor level to the executive level
  • Develop strategies and actionable plans to embed leadership development across the organization to support improvement of business outcomes; monitor progress and ensure results
  • Design, implement and facilitate leadership to executive development programs for current and aspiring Managers/Executives.
  • Collaborates with Department Heads and Human Resources to deliver executive education
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to ensure continuous training alignment with business needs and organizational initiatives
  • Delivers reporting and analysis of all development progress and opportunities to Leadership Team
  • Define Talent Strategy to align with growth of the business
  • Develop and manage workforce planning, identifying and, addressing development plans for critical roles
  • Coach and support executive leadership including partnership with external coach relationships
  • Leads talent assessments to ensure alignment with the business goals and strategies
  • Manage and support the Manager in Training Program and Peachtree Prep University
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to solicit feedback and make enhancements to evolve existing frameworks and tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred in Human Resources, Industrial /Organizational Psychology or MBA
  • 10+ years of experience in Organizational Development and dynamic Leadership Development supporting a large matrixed organization with multiple lines of business
  • Track record of translating business strategies into critical talent and organizational development initiatives for leadership and executive development
  • Experience to design and execute successful development programs
  • Experience with strategic workforce planning and analytics to enable sustainable succession planning
  • Knowledge and point of view regarding effectiveness, best practices, and preferred applications of various assessments
  • Proven people leader and coaching, in addition, to strong capability of leading through influence across cultures
  • Big picture thinking and practical execution skills to deliver enterprise development initiatives across the regions, functions, and business units
  • Demonstrated experience advancing the long-term talent agenda, while executing on short-term initiatives
  • Project management and process management skills
  • Superior verbal, written, presentation, influence, and facilitation skills
