Job Summary: The Sr. Manager, Human Resources will provide HR business partner support for our Food Business Unit. The incumbent will be an experienced trusted advisor and strategic partner who works with business leaders to build and drive successful talent strategies and efficient processes that enable our business’ objectives. The individual will provide day-to-day HR partnership focused on coaching, enabling career development, change management, compensation administration, performance management, succession planning, capability building, and organizational design & development initiatives, all with a focus on continually driving employee engagement. This position will support a variety of initiatives including ensuring consistency in our people campaigns and best practices to support and encourage a performance-based culture.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serves as HR business partner to employees and leaders across the Food BU in support of our people strategies and enabling our company culture
  • Effectively build and foster partnerships with our Centers of Excellence (COEs), including Talent Development/Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and Total Rewards to best administer and deliver human resource related programs across the enterprise
  • Responsible for coordinating with various and other HRBP’s across regions and functions to enable a collective execution against our business priorities
  • Manage functional recruitment efforts and provide support to leaders and talent acquisition; Lead any necessary employment processes to ensure efficiency and recruitment of top talent.
  • Possess broad knowledge and understanding of our business to assess and drive organizational and change management initiatives
  • Partner with leaders to drive their respective talent strategies and organizational learning & development agendas
  • Partner with the Total Rewards Center of Excellence to support compensation, benefits and recognition programs that will drive a performance-based culture
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, performance improvement plans, conflict resolution and career development.
  • Project manage the performance and talent management campaigns to include annual performance reviews, development planning, manager feedback, coaching and facilitation of related trainings.
  • Responsible for maintaining, tracking, and reporting of human resources related data and metrics. Manage employee data changes though our HRIS system and ensure accuracy.
  • Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations; Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues
  • Lead continuous improvement of human resource functions (i.e. staffing, budgets, compensation administration, policy administration, employee relations, organizational development, change management, etc.)
  • Enable effective development and movement of internal talent by focusing on continuously improving the experience associated with the internal candidate process
  • Drive engagement and positive culture through proactive communications and employee activities and in support of our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging programs
  • Support site safety efforts and worker’s compensation administration, as needed.
  • Assists with special projects and performs other duties as needed
The successful candidate can work independently, set daily priorities and demonstrate excellent time management skills. A high degree of professionalism is required with clients and peers. Thoroughness and confidentiality are essential.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • 7 – 10 years of generalist experience as an HR professional
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Experience providing human resources support to consumer or customer service related functions preferred
  • Experience using SAP/HCM preferred
  • Proven coaching, relationship building, and effective conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability and high comfort level working with all levels of employees in a fast paced and change oriented environment
  • Results oriented mindset to execute on business objectives and needs
  • Exercise’s initiative and follow-up, including a strong sense of urgency and autonomy that requires accountability
  • Successful dealing with uncertainty and navigating ambiguous situations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skill set with advanced skills in all Microsoft Suite systems including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel occasionally
