We are proudly seeking a passionate, highly involved, visible and energetic Director of Sales who will lead the sales efforts of a major franchised hotel in Atlanta, GA. The Director of Sales will have the following responsibilities:

Prepare annual revenue budget, annual marketing plan, and quarterly sales strategy reports with General Manager.
Direct and participate in the sales efforts of the hotel as outlined in the marketing plan.
Develop and manage the sales budget; review regularly with General Manager.
Achieve top-line revenue to meet or exceed budget goals.
Properly follow-up on leads and administer group and corporate contracts
Ability to negotiate rates with a client creating a win situation for both client and hotel.
Communicate to other department's any and all special request you may have for guests.
Attend trade shows, participate with local events, and network at chamber events.
Cultivate and source leads through cold calls, telemarketing, direct sales, and networking. .
Maintain rapport with competitor hotels, lead sources, clients, and the local community.
Submit weekly sales reports to corporate office.
Work closely with General Manager and Front Desk on Revenue Management.
Develop and implement special promotions to increase business from specific market segments
Possess and utilize excellent time management skills.
Remain highly visible and be readily available for guests and clients at all times.
Take initiative to offer assistance or answer questions throughout the hotel.

Assist in company wide sales blitz activities.

strategic plans and initiatives.
* A passionate leader that can instill his or her drive, energy, ambition, sense of urgency and
attention to detail to the entire management team and in turn all employees.
* Sound sales and administrative skills with particular strengths in direct sales, marketing and revenue management.
* Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.

* Marriott experience preferred

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
