Duties:

  • Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provides input and direction for creating strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
  • Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote the product.
  • Delivers sales presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Meets with clients and prospects, to maintain or develop the relationship, negotiating and order booking.
  • Coordinates liaison to Sales Coordinator, manufacturing facilities, HQ and other sales-related units.
  • Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Provides input and direction for product research and development consideration.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Design Software (Photoshop/Illustrator); Order Processing Systems; Project Management Software; Word Processing Software (Word); Presentation Software (PowerPoint)); Call Management System (Vertical); Proprietary Software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
