Then we want you! Allworth is looking for a sales champion in our critical Mergers & Partnerships team.

The Mergers & Partnerships team is a fulcrum point to the success of Allworth Financial's goals of becoming a premier national financial planning firm. Following the direction and strategy of the Director of Business Development, this highly collaborative team is responsible for growing Allworth Financial's assets under management by conducting sales activities to generate qualified leads in the Independent Broker Dealer (IBD), Hybrid RIA and RIA-only channels.

The Inside Sales Business Consultant is a critical role and is perfect for those who love to go above and beyond metrics and excel at making client connections through phone conversations.

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried role with a very attractive variable comp. In this role, the sky is the limit for earning potential if you are driven.

You will be the master of your own schedule with hybrid work options in one of our office locations- Addison, Texas/ Folsom, California/ Cincinnati, Ohio/ Atlanta, Georgia/ Seattle, Washington/ Denver, Colorado.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients and maintain those relationships through sales calls, email efforts, leveraging centers of influence and various marketing campaigns
  • Utilizing deep and extensive knowledge of investment products and services to provide potential partners with information to qualify, nurture and generate new sales opportunities
  • Performing other various sales generating activities related to establishing Allworth Financial as a premier brand in the Financial Planning space (which includes attending industry conferences)
  • Educating advisors on the financial and practical implications of selling their business to a partner like Allworth Financial
  • Providing support, ideas and information to the team to assist with the firm's annual and quarterly growth targets
  • Uncovering and communicating competitive intelligence to the team
  • Building a pipeline of prospective clients and maintain those relationships through sales calls and various marketing campaigns
  • Managing a territory, researching, filtering and creating call campaigns to potential future partners of Allworth Financial
  • Collaborating with internal partners such as marketing, product, and public relations to coordinate strategy and efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge of advisory business, investments, brokerage business, corporate finance and financial planning a plus
  • Series 7 and Series 63 required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a direct financial sales role preferred
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements

  • Self-driven to win and thrives in a sales commission model
  • Strong commitment to go above and beyond metrics
  • Excellent storyteller with the ability to build relationships over the phone
  • Self-motivated team player with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience required
  • Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Must be extremely organized to manage and build a robust pipeline of prospects across a large territory
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to various situations
