Territory Sales Representative (Southeastern US)

MLC CAD Systems is in search of a
Territory Sales Representative to be a part of our
CAD (SolidWorks) Sales team in the Southeast Region.

As Territory Sales Representative, your main objective is to expand utilization of the SolidWorks technology suite (3D design software, analysis software, and data management software) to new and existing customers. This includes identifying new customer opportunities, developing new sales to existing customers, and positioning product training/implementation services to meet company objectives.

LOCATION: This position is based out of the Atlanta Georgia office, although location could be any major metro market we serve in the Southern US.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote the sale of MLC CAD Systems products, services, training of the CAD products the company represents.
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Drive sales for primarily New Logos with some existing customer cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify prospect/customer needs and recommend product solutions.
  • Address any sales queries on the company's products and services.
  • Collaborating with our Strategic Sales Reps in the Southeast Region.

The following are the specific skills and qualifications required for any Territory Sales Representative to be successful:

  • Proven work experience as a Territory Sales Representative, Sales Representative, Sales Consultant, or a similar position in the Sales.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field is a plus.
