You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

  • Filling positions that fall under the ECS Technician Certification Policy within the ECS standard Time to Fill metrics
  • Collaborating with Regional Recruiter and hiring managers to maintain appropriate staff levels of Field positions for assigned branches
  • Fielding requests for all positions under the ECS Technician Certification Policy from hiring managers across the assigned region; collaborating with Corporate Recruiting Assistant to keep positions refreshed following best practices
  • Utilizing sourcing tools such as Indeed, Monster, Ziprecruiter, information databases, the internet, various job boards (technical schools, community colleges, trade associations, etc.), referrals, previous applicants stored in the ATS, state and national licensing portals, state unemployment boards, and professional networking sites effectively to search for quality passive field level candidates
  • Processing all applicants on assigned job postings daily including screening, scheduling interviews, writing offer letters, and dispositioning candidates
  • Conducting reference checks, and employment verifications on prospective candidates to ensure organization qualifications are met, as determined between recruiter and hiring managers
  • Communicating in advance of an interview with candidate to confirm all minimum qualifications are met
  • Informing applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information
  • Corresponding with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration
  • Utilizing the ATS to process, manage and communicate with passive candidates
  • Ensuring the ATS and all application processes are in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and OFCCP regulations
  • Researching, engaging with, and establishing, maintaining relationships with local high schools, unemployment organizations, charitable organizations, etc. to create and sustain a pipeline of talent; attends local networking, engineering organization and career fair events when appropriate
  • Participating in Corporate Recruiting meetings and activities; assists with implementation of new recruiting initiatives, especially those that directly affect field recruiting efforts
What We're Looking For:
  • BS in Human Resources or equivalent field
  • 2 – 4 years of related experience
